About Us

Ethan Pollock Lucy Chan mindfulness day

Hi there! We're Lucy and Ethan, the team behind Mindful Living.

Between us we have 30+ years of mindfulness and compassion experience. Our community of teachers has over a century's worth!

We are a non profit community organisation dedicated to sharing the art of mindful living in inspiring, creative, and practical ways that are easy to integrate, and can change lives.

Our commitment is to offering:

  • Inclusive spaces that are welcoming to all

  • Experienced and inspiring teachers who live what they teach

  • Reliability and trust

  • Accessibility to all, regardless of financial means

  • High quality programmes

We believe mindfulness is not only an individual practice to improve your well-being, but is a way of being that can influence change on a structural and societal level.

Mindful Living started in 2013 as a programme of retreats at the now legendary Binley Farm. Our offerings continue to develop and grow.

OUR APPROACH

We want to meet you where you are and help find ways that work best for you. Whether you're looking to relieve some stress, or are searching for new meaning and direction!

Bridging elements of science based approaches, with ancient wisdom traditions like Buddhism to engage the heart and mind; what we offer is both relevant and powerful.

Our approach emphasises engaged mindfulness - you won't only cultivate awareness in your personal life but in all areas including your relationships, work life and social engagement.

Mindful living practices are simple, concrete and accessible to people from all walks of life, irrespective of religious faith.

Our offerings are suitable for beginners as well as advanced practitioners who wish to refresh and deepen their practice.

OUR TEAM

Our teachers are deeply committed to living mindful and compassionate lives; they have all spent months or years on personal retreat and have extensive experience facilitating groups.

We believe the best teachers are those who walk the walk.
